Meet Mr. Lindsay
Welcome to my classroom. My name is Mr. Gary Lindsay, and I teach 5th Grade. I grew up in Richmond, VA. I moved to North Carolina for college where I graduated from East Carolina University in 2010. I recently graduated from the University of Virginia with my Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision. After graduating from East Carolina, I taught 5th grade for 3 years at Elmhurst Elementary in Greenville, NC. However, I missed Richmond, so I came back to teach 5th grade at E.D. Redd Elementary. When I am not in the classroom teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Kendal, exercising, and playing with my dog Bear. I also love the Washington Redskins. Current Events |

Our Terrific KidsEach week I pick a student from our class to be the Terrific Kid. The student is chosen based on overall performance in the class room; this includes behavior and effort.I also focus on our Character Education words of the month. Those words are listed above.

Fun Friday ActivitiesFun Friday is for the students who earn it based on their behavior. The students have choices between extra recess and computer time. The students who had a PERFECT week get the option of an extra activity. That activity might be cooking, arts and crafts, or science experiments. Above you will see some of the activities.
